MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop music industry is influenced through his worldwide influence. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The artist released his debut long-player ADN to the Medellin-based company Sony, which is distributed by La Industria Inc. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and him in the following year. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI for her streaming single Maldita Foto. in 2023 the single the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a product of a musical household his mother and older brother also are musicians. In interviews he has described his involvement in music as mandatory. As a child, he was taught how to play the piano, saxophone and guitar. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian was able to convince him singing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. What he got was learning that he possessed a talent for singing changed his path in life.
