Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In the 80s the actress began her acting career and became famous for her role as Tezaab, in which she starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil along with Aamir. In Mumbai, she was raised within a middle class family parents. At a very young age, she began to study dance. When she was a teen, she began acting and struggled for years because most of her early films failed. Then she found her feet and was one of the most prominent actresses on the Indian film industry. After her marriage, she took some time off from acting until she returned. Recently, she played an important role on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit was nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth most prestigious civil award in India. In addition, she has been recognized for her efforts in the social sector.
